Dynamic After-School Fun
Shop nowSpark Sports Coaching offers a range of sports coaching services that are designed to meet the needs of every school regardless of size or budget.
We believe that coaching is more than teaching children a set of skills linked to a sport but introducing the unseen mindsets, dispositions and life skills that children learn from taking part in our sessions. We aim to support children by building on their strengths to give them the confidence to tackle their weaknesses.
Children learn how to lead and follow well, how to make mistakes in a safe environment, how to set and achieve goals, control emotions, win and lose with class and dignity, to be healthy and disciplined, respect others and work as a team.
Spark can support teaching staff deliver their curriculum and lead teacher training sessions during the school day, as well as providing parents and carers with childcare outside of school hours, during the school holidays and even weekend birthday parties too.
Spark coaches are fun, friendly, fully insured, DBS checked and experienced in delivering quality sport and physical activity sessions to primary school children in Bath.

Hi there, we hope that these answers cover most of your initial questions If you are new to our clubs.
Q: I have booked online, does my child have a place?
A: If you have booked using our website then your child has a place secured.
Q: How do you know who the booking is for?
A: We don't unless you put your child's name as your 'business name' when creating your account.
Q: When do the clubs run?
A:Our clubs run whenever the school is open. Booking is taken in double terms so the first block of sessions will run from September through until Christmas. Then January to Easter and finally Easter until the end of the school year. Timings are below.
Infant clubs 3.15-4.15pm
Junior Clubs 3.15-4.30pm
Q: Where do I collect my child from?
A: Infant clubs are to be collected at the front door to the school at 4.15pm. Junior Clubs are to be collected from the playground at 4.30pm. After Hours Club collection is from the Junior School Playground.
Q: What should my child wear?
A: Children can wear their own sports kits if they have them but this is NOT necessary, the vast majority wear their PE kit. Children must be able to get themselves changed and quickly so please be sensible with what you send them in (shin pads & football socks are not ideal for Infants!) Trainers are good for footwear but again please do not send in lace up shoes if the children cannot do their own laces.
Q: I have booked my child in for After Hours, How does this work?
A: After hours is our extended childcare provision, Children have supervised free play with a number of activities available depending on the weather. They will receive a healthy snack (usually fruit) around 5 pm. This session runs at the Junior School and Infant school children are escorted over there by their club coach.

A: You can collect your child anytime during this session but the session finishes at 5.30pm promptly. Collection is through the Junior School playground gate.

If you are running late for After Hours collection at 5.30pm then please call 07702 524206. If children are regularly being collected late then you will be charged for our after hours service.
Q: What if my child needs medication?
A: You should follow your schools procedure of notifying them, we communicate directly with the schools regarding medications and health plans.
Q: My child hasn't done this sport before, will they be okay?
A: Great! yes, Our after school sports provision is all about exposure to different sports in a fun, inclusive and safe space! It's not about drills, pressure and performance!
